Bradford White's PowerStor SW-2 is the Canadian single-wall indirect water heater range (sheet C554): six sizes from 29 to 110 US gallons that store potable water heated by a boiler through an internal single-wall coil, with AHRI first-hour ratings of 197 to over 235 US gallons at 135 °F.
Series facts
A PowerStor tank holds domestic water with no burner of its own: boiler water circulates through an internal coil and heats the potable water around it, which is why the tank's ratings depend on the boiler. The Canadian sheet pairs each model with a minimum heat-source output (115,000 to 120,000 BTU/h for the models listed) and a coil flow rate, and rates first-hour delivery at 135 °F on that basis.
Single-wall construction means one wall of metal between the boiler water and the potable water, which some jurisdictions restrict where boiler fluid could contaminate domestic supply; Bradford White's double-wall PowerStor2 range (sheet C543) is the alternative where double-wall separation is required. The tank still needs an anode, a relief valve and usually a mixing valve, and the same 60 °C storage and 49 °C fixture guidance that applies to direct-fired tanks.
Whether CANRO supplies a given PowerStor size for a job is confirmed at consultation, and the boiler-side design is assessed as hydronic work rather than catalogue selection.

Services for Bradford White indirect tank units
It stores potable hot water heated by an existing boiler, which suits homes with hydronic heating and high simultaneous demand. It only makes sense where a suitable boiler exists.
Single-wall coils put one metal wall between boiler water and potable water; where codes or insurers require two-wall separation, Bradford White's double-wall PowerStor2 is the counterpart. The choice is a code and design question for the install.
Not by UEF: AHRI rates these tanks on first-hour delivery at 135 °F against a stated minimum heat source. The ratings on this site carry that basis and are not compared with direct-fired first-hour figures.
