About this service

Sediment settles on the tank bottom and insulates it from the burner or element, which costs recovery and shortens tank life. Monthly draining removes the fresh layer; a full flush with the tank isolated is the treatment for years of build-up, and it is the visit that finds a failing drain valve or a depleted anode while the tank is drained.

The service follows the manufacturer's procedure for the tank, includes a check of the relief valve, and reports what was found and what, if anything, is recommended. Pricing is quoted and confirmed by phone; the flush itself is a maintenance task, not a repair.
