GSW Power direct vent gas tanks

The GSW Power Direct Vent is GSW's sealed-combustion gas tank for installations where using inside air for combustion is not an option and a longer vent run is required, for example a smaller room that does not have a wall facing outdoors. GSW states the air is drawn from outside using a vent pipe and a rotatable motorized blower forces the exhaust outside, so the room's air is not consumed by combustion.

The published feature set includes a sealed combustion chamber design that GSW states prevents accidental ignition of flammable vapours, a compact design for tight-space installations, factory-installed heat trap nipples that reduce the heat lost through piping, and the exclusive TankSaver design that GSW says prolongs tank life. T&P relief, drain valve, junction box and anode are conveniently located for service.
